I am a highly qualified career counsellor practitioner with a client centred approach towards career counselling.

My doctoral candidature at the University of Sydney is scheduled for completion at the start of 2025 and is based on the topic ‘Raising Careers Awareness.’ This assures customers that my knowledge of research, readings, and trends in the careers industry is current and relevant.

I have worked for two decades as a career counselling practitioner. Working closely with people on a daily basis, it is my pleasure to motivate them towards the world of work or further study. I am a professional member of the Career Advisers Association of NSW (CAANSW) which is linked as an affiliate member to the Careers Industry Council of Australia (CICA) the peak Careers body in this country. Membership of these organisations assures clients that professional standards and ethical practices are upheld in the provision of career counselling services. 
 

Having worked as a Head of Careers Counselling in Schools I have a special interest in young people nearing the end of their school, TAFE or university studies and who need career direction in their lives. I also understand that appropriate, individualised career advice is lacking in many educational institutions. I have exceptional knowledge of most training courses provided in NSW, and my webpage has links to resources that support clients with various career and employment outcomes.

My services provide a comprehensive, affordable, and quality driven career counselling service, particularly for clients seeking to make decisions relating to career goals in their lives. My services aim to equip clients with the tools and confidence to pursue appropriate change for their vocational future.

I take a personal interest in all my clients and can arrange almost instantaneous support through either phone or zoom link. Private consultations, can be arranged, in my private Kenthurst Studio, upon request.

I have devoted my professional work to developing the skills that my clients need to be able to support themselves on their career journey. The plan is to enable clients to develop the skills to self-help in the future and to develop the skills to establish a fulfilling career by tapping into what they know about themselves and finding the pathway and direction through knowledge of both education and the labour market. The expertise and methods I possess, are underpinned, by university research, knowledge of the job & training market as well as years of experience.
